Doris Elaine Mackey

Doris Mackey, 99, of West Long Branch peacefully passed away on November 25. Doris was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Raymond Mackey, sons Raymond, Richard, Kenneth and Charles and grandson John Elliott.  Doris is survived by daughters Barbara Conrad and husband John of Ocean Township, Judy Smith and husband David of Lakewood, Kathy Gaspich of Longmont, Co, Lynn Thornley and husband Wayne of Gaines Township, PA, and daughter-in-law Nancy Mackey of Conway, SC, 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 15 great, great grandchildren.  Doris was born in Asbury Park, NJ in 1922 and was a long time resident of Ocean Township, Wall Township and West Long Branch Peter Cooper Village where she resided before becoming ill. 
Doris was a remarkable, loving woman who was cherished by all who knew her. Doris was a great fan of the Yankees and Giants. She loved to crochet, read books and play bingo and cards with her many friends. A private memorial service will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Lombardi Funeral Home.
