Patrick Carosia

Patrick Carosia, 72 of Florham Park passed away at home on Tuesday January 17, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.  Patty was born and raised in Orange, NJ before moving to West Orange where he raised his family and then moving to Florham Park.

He is predeceased by his loving wife Gail (Pirrello), his parents Frank and Catherine (Pescatore), and his brother Henry (Leah). He is survived by two loving sons Patrick, Jr. and Jeffrey (Michele),  two sisters Marylou De Fazio (Armand) and Lillian Carosia and a cherished granddaughter Carmella. 

Patty was a Firefighter for the West Orange Township Fire Department where he retired after 30 years of service.  He served as the departments FMBA Local Delegate for several years. Pat was one of a kind and never thought twice to help someone in need. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation 1:00pm ~ 5:00pm on Sunday January 22, 2023 at Lombardi Funeral Home (@ Ipollito-Dancy Memorial) 9 Smull Avenue Caldwell, NJ  07006.  A mass of christian burial will be held at Saint Rose of Lima RC Church, East Hanover at 11:30am on Monday January 23, 2023 thence to Gate of Heaven Cemetery  for the interment.   Relatives and friends are requested to meet at the church on Monday. There will not be a morning service at the funeral prior to the mass.  

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in Patty's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital @ www.stjude.org.
