Randall Alan De Jong

Randall Alan De Jong (Randy) 71, of North Haledon, NJ passed away on Friday, July 26th, 2019. 1

He was born on February 1st, 1948 in Wilkes-Barre PA.

He proudly served active duty in the U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1971 and was a retired police officer for North Haledon Police Department where he served his community for 27 years. He attended the Free Reformed Church of Pompton Plains and enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting.

Randy is survived by his beloved wife, Cathy (nee Boer) of 44 years, his son Kevin and his wife, Jessica of Montville, NJ, and daughter Kimberly Rullo, and her husband, David of Verona, NJ. He was the best “Poppy” to his three grandchildren Kadence, Brayden and Dominic. He is also survived by his twin brother, Richard and his wife, Cindy of Clayton, NC.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 30th 2019, from 4pm to 8pm, funeral services will be held on Wednesday 10:00am July 31, 2019 at Lombardi Funeral Home (Ippolito-Dancy) 9 Smull Avenue, Caldwell, NJ.
